Tire Question

New member with a question. I have a 2001 Frontier SE 4x4 Crewcab, which I bought new. I just replaced the tires on the truck. I found out that the tires I had on there were the wrong size right from the dealer. The computer at the Tire Shop said I'm supposed to have 265-70 R16. I only had 265-70 R15's. My label on the door says 16's and my spare is also a 265-70 R16. The other 4 wheels are 15 inch. Does that seem odd to anyone else. Regardless I replaced them with 225-70 R15's. Besides from my truck sitting lower, they are fine.

My question is this going to mess with my speedometer and odometer settings because of the smaller tiren. If so, can I have the settings changed to match the trie size? Thanks.

that little of change u shouldnt noticed ne thing, if u were to jump up to like a 20" rim or something yeah ur speedo is gonna be off a little, my friend has 20's on his 4runner, and his speedo is 5 mph slow. so when he is doing 15 he is really doing 20
