white wheels

I am thinking of buying some white 16 or 17 inch wheels for my silver 96. Does anyone have pics of a silver car with white rims? That interactive thing on tire rack sucks.

they looked nice. they had white spokes and a silver lip. 17 inches

I'm sorry but white wheels are played out, but that's just my opinion...I guess if they weren't so played out, it would look pretty good on a silver car. I'd get silver wheels with a polished lip if you want it to look clean...or look for gold, gunmetal or bronze wheels for a more unique look. Just my thoughts, good luck :cool:

I have to agree with you Nismoboy, white rims just dont like right on a car....go gold or silver

Anyone have a picture of a black car with black rims (g20?) I would love to see how that looks.

I had an old 95 Escort GT and I think about 2 years ago and I think I was one of the first persons in my area to put on white rims. It seemed like everyone was asking me where I got them...now white rims seem to be not that big a deal.

Was the car an import into the States or can you buy them there?
They stopped making them here in NZ and you could only get them from UK.

played out? i live in socal/sgv which is pretty much the import mecca of the us. i really don't see that many white wheels. as for black on black thats a subtle look but you might as well take the hubcab off of some oem rims.

one thing. white rims are a b#tch to keep clean. so you better be willing to swab them down once a week.
