messed up 12v plug in car

well i installed my honda audio console, but my lighter is all messed up. i noticed when i went to charge my phone. the metal thing the lighter goes in is loose, the plastic piece is loose and it flickers on and off. the broze or copper piece is all retarted and shit. i dunno how to fix it. whats the best way to fix/set up my cigarette lighter outlet. the instructions were very shitty at the part for the lighter thing. just my luck too. bah

I just installed mine and i had to break apart the console where the lighter was just to get it out. My lighter unscrews into two different pieces and the front slides into the hole, and the back screws onto it to make a tight fit.

Goto a junkyard and rip out a new one.
