2000 Blazer LS, just replaced a faulty multifunction switch and now the Parking Brake light will not turn out. The parking brake switch is good, when the brake is released, the daytime running lights come on.
Only 4 plugs on the MF switch, ant they're all replaced.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this?
Thanks,

Reset your computer by pulling the positive battery connection on the battery for 10 minutes.

Check your brakes/fluid levels. Bleed if neccesary.

Well, had a chance to poke around tonight. Everything looked alright under the dash. Actually took it all apart and tried reconnecting the old MF switch to see if somehow the new switch was at fault. Nope. Light was still on. Put it all back together with the new switch again.
Brake Fluid is full, Disconnected the battery again to do the work. Light is still on.
Anyone know if the switch on the parking brake assembly is a single or double wire connection? Looks like a single plug to ground. It's working in that releasing the brake will fire the DRL's on.
I'm looking through the wiring schematics in the Haynes manual, but they're terrible, and only a "typical" schematic.
Any more ideas would be appreciated, or it goes to the shop to have it checked out.
