Hey I drive a slow ass LS and I'm planning to do a major engine swap. I heard here and there about sleeving a B18 into a 2.0 liter. Is this a good platform to start off?

Or should just get a turbo and save alot of money? I was planning to max out my credit card and spend around 8k to get the fully built 2.0 LS Vtec. do u think i can run high or mid 12s with this setup or is it a totally stupid idea. hit me up thanks

oh yea one more thing. even if i do go with this setup would it matter if i got neither a B18 head or a B16 to the block assuming that i polish and port the head.

I'd just keep the ls and rebuild it then turbo it. Definitely will get you into the 12s with tuning and good driving, and suspension.

if your going to dump a lot of money into it get the 2.0 LS Vtec, lots of torque and top end. LS Vtec is hard to get runnin right though, so make sure you get someone who knows what they're doing

I have an LS in my 4g hatch, and I want an LS Vtec, I drove my friend's GS-R Del Sol, Vtec pulls hard, but there's no replacement for torque
