Car accident need some advice.

Ok just now my friends grand parents backed in to me while i was at his house. They hit my fiberglass blitz bumper and it cracked all the way through. They were like we will just pay you just get an estimate for a new bumper and a paint job. The thing is i got that bumper for like 200 bucks and did all the custom attach work myself and it took me like 2 weeks because it was a cheap 200 dollar bumper. So i told them alright so now i dont really know what to do should i just order another 200 dollar one and get a shop to put it on and paint it and have them pay or what? i dont even know im just pissed right now cause i cant really estimate the work i put in to it and sentimental value. I have another question lets say i get like a eurathane <== however you spell it and then just have a shop paint it but the thing is will it requier so much work with custom brackets and will there be a bunch of gaps between the head lights and stuff. Can you guys give me an estimate. on it.

well that sux dude.. i know what you mean how can you put a price on wrench time.. especially tedious frusting stuff like making a bodykit fit right.. id just have em buy a new bumper and pay to have it put on and painted and all that good stuff if it were me.. but if i knew more about puttin that carp on id do it myself again and just tach on like a couple hundred for labor (prolly much less than any shop). im not sure on fitment of the eurathane <- dunno how to spell it either so ill leave that to other brighter individuals.. peace

Yeah but im thinking about doing this dont know if i should just get an estimate from a shop that does body kits then buy one and do it all myself later and pocket the 400 or so and use that money for other stuff haha not sure though the main thing is i was kind of worried so im like wow i dont know it will end up being 600 or 700 hundread but i shouldnt have said anything . so hahaah i dont even know im just still mad that bumper had sentimental value i spent 2 hours making brackets for it anda ll that stuff i perfectly have it to the head lights you cant even fit your finger no gap at all like stock and all that and now its GONE AHHHHHHH.

Ok my friend just called me and told me something that made me feel a lot better. Hes all dude dont worry about it my grandparents are rich its like buying a candy bar to them. They were driving a pretty nice car too so i dont know now i wont feel as bad when i take their money. But still it kind of feels wrong . Wow i just realized who needs a job when you can get in to car accidents every week making 1-2k
haha im jk. I dont know what to do maybe just go back to stock bumper? get it painted and just give them the estimates as if i was still going with the blitz. And use that money on something else i dont even know what to do.

if you really want a high estimate take it to a dealer and say i want this back to oem with oem parts hahah

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH and then buy a TURBO KIT. HAHAHAH JK nahhh man i dont know still im going to motorsport dynamics tomorrow er crap tomorrow is labor day i guess after tomorrow and figure out that then go to a paint shop and stuff. so yeah. damn though i wouldnt go to a dealership cause i dont want to rob people of their money how would you like it if somebody did that to you. I mean you probably wouldnt end up backing up in to a car thats been parked for 2 hours 10 feet behind you. And that sad thing is his grandparents got in their car after my car was there they walked past my car got in and backed up? ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS WTF IS UP WITH OLD PEOPLE? WOW i hope i dont end up like that when im old. But then again ill probably die from cancer at the age of 39

Yeah seriously i think once old people turn like 60 they should have to start taking road test agin to keept here license.. unless of coarse if and when i turn 60 they try to do that in witch cause that would be bs lol... but yeah smoking should do me n well before then...
