Just bought a 96 Prelude, auto trans, for $400.00only needed the 2 O2 sensors to get it running for my 17yo daughter so she would stop complaining about driving my 89 Nissan Sentra,w80K miles and interior you could eat off of. I have 3 Conquest TSI all autos that I drive. Prelude interior is in good shape, has 148k on motor but body needs new paint and left front fender and plastic/rubber piece that encompass the left front wheel well. Would like recommends on what mods to add for engine and body that would make it nice for her to give for Xmas. If have items or no where to get them let me know. ought a bunch of stuff of Ebay(also where I got car) Can email me at sfc711@cox-internet.com. I am a 40yo retired Army disabled Vet and am at home all day.

I would recommend a short ram intake. They're cheap, and easily available on ebay for less than $50. It won't give the car any significant gains, but it gives the engine a roar that anyone can appreciate, even non-enthusiasts. It'll give the car a more, quick, sporty illusion - that i'm sure your daughter is looking for in a car.

you bought her a new car, ain't that enough for a x-mas present?? :p jus playin.

yeah, if i were you, before you get into modifying the car you should repair whatever needs repair. get that fender fixed and whatever else to get it in pristine condition. 148k miles is a bit high for an 8 year old car but has plenty more ahead for a honda and could still use some maintenance work if it hasn't already been done by the previous owner.

call xhibit up on MTV and have him pimp yo ride. haha :D

i'd recommend some nice lowering springs as a first mod if you ask me. it'll make it a funner car to drive.

I would almost suggest putting in a sterio and doing some nice interior mods, no offence to anyone, but most of the girls I know dont REALLY notice the engine performance mods, although they are nice to have. Exhaust and cold air is usually one of the first mods done. But I think that she would be pretty happy to have a bumpin sterio in it for when her and her gf's go out cruising.
