i'm going to install some long-tubes on my '89. i have no idea what brand they are, having bought them cheap off a friend. they have 1 5/8 primaries and 3" collectors.
first, where do i drill holes and weld bungs to make the 02 sensors work? can i jsut have them stick straight towards the transmission and not have clearance issues? (t-5)
second, i went and bought Hooker 02 sensor bungs off summit (all they had). will they work with stock sensors, and do i have to do anything goofy to mount them?
lastly, could i possibly get away with cutting the stock bungs out of the stock h-pipe and welding them into the headers?
thanks in advance

Not sure about the loacation, you might have to use the trial and error type method. But most LT's have the bungs near the collector on the inside, so that would be a general location. Just remember you will have to get 02 an extension wire harness.
The summit bungs should be fine, where 02's should all have a universal thread.
