Heres the real question... Do you feel like paying an excess of $250 for an Injen system?
I would say go with the Ebay one... Slap a STILLEN logo on it... No one would know the difference.

The "complete" kit has no ECU chip. Which you will need to run a dual intake. You must alter the ECU to run a dual intake. Otherwise you will be reading only half the air that comes into the engine. The pipes don't even appear to have a mount for the MAF sensor. This is a "racing" kit. It will not work on a street car. If you want a very high quality, very good kit get the Jim Wolf dual intake.
However it is important to note that stock T pipe with a single cone intake (also a good piece from Jim Wolf) is more than adequate for anything under 450hp. On a non turbo Z32, going from a single cone to a dual system will pick up maybe 5hp. Considering what a good ECU (aka not some shitty chip that just dials up the fuel air a bit or removes the rev limiter like most that you find on Ebay) costs, thats not much hp for your money. If you are looking for an intake for a NA 300ZX get a Jim Wolf single cone filter and then move onto other things.

How much is the JWT Intake?
I had an Ebay intake on my previous Zed's... Ran fine. No ECU Re-Programming of any kind.
Anyways, with performance parts, the more you spend, the more results you will get... In my opinion.

A Jim wolf cone sells on conceptZperformance.com for 100 bucks. Thats not too bad considering that its probably the best out there for the Z32. Yeah a cone filter on ebay proabably is cheaper and will give you a boost in performance but for an extra bit of cash you can get the better system. In my mind there is no real reason to spend money on something thats not the best when the top of the line piece is probably just a little more. Especially if you are doing major upgrades.
As for your previous intake, if it was an actual dual intake like the one pictured I would like to know how it was set up around the MAF since the sensor would only be monitoring half the air flowing into the engine.

That shits a scam... It fools your ECU in to thinking your engine is constantly pulling in the maximum amount of possible air flow... Kinda raping your engine.
I wouldnt go for that...

Of the aforementitioned ebay chips: Never buy an ebay chip. They do nothing but trick your ECU into thinking that something is happening that isn't. If your ECU thinks that the air coming in is 60 degrees and its really 90 degrees then it will be running rich. Colder air is denser and thus has more oxygen in the same volume as hotter air. So the ecu will input more gas then there should be because it thinks there is more oxygen to burn the extra fuel then there really is. It wouldn't add that much power and it would just be a matter of time before your "upgrade" destroys your engine.
Thats not even a chip, its just a resistor.
A Jim Wolf ecu is the entire ECU unit. It tunes the Air-fuel ratio for higher rpms, alters the rev limiter a small bit (7000 --> 7200), removes the top speed limiter and does a few other trick things. And the greatest part of dropping 700 dollars on a JWT ECU is that once you have one, if you are going to upgrade later on all you have to do is get a different eprom chip for it. I had a JWT ecu in my TT when I bought it so all i had to do is tell them what type of chip I needed when I sent off my order for the dual intake. Pull my old chip out and pop the new one in. Nice and simple and all because there was the base investment in the JWT ECU. With something this important to the car, you DO NOT want to buy some half assed crap off ebay.
EDIT: On www.conceptzperformance.com they have the Non Turbo ecu from JWT for 520 dollars. here is there list of what the ECU does for your car
JWT ECU Features:
-12HP Gain -Easily Installed (25 minutes)
-No Adjustments needed
-Rev. Limiter Raised 200 RPM
-Cam Timing control optimized
-Eliminates Top Speed Limiter at Computer Level
-Throttle Response Code Optimized
-Control Maps "Resized" for control at high RPM and power
-Air/Fuel Ratios corrected for higher power levels
-Ignition Timing corrected for optimum torque and cylinder temperature

yeah i know all about the Jim Wolf ecus, and i saw that 100 dollar inatake on conceptz, but one question, is it just the actuall filter, or which one are you talking about, just a filter, pop chargers dual or single, or what, im really lost as to which intake on this page...http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/items.php?Car_Type=300&car_cat=Intake&CA=31&UID=20040905204341198.81.26.15...is the best ???

Alright, on the intake page for the 300ZX at Concept Z (which is probably one of the best places to get your parts if your going through online) there is these options
Apexi Power Intake: This is just your standard "dry" filter thats been shaped as a cone. I'll get to the difference between "dry" and "wet" later.
Blitz SUS intake element: This isn't a complete filter just a higher flowing filter element. You put it inside a JWT popcharger end cap and mounting bracket and it will flow more air. But it doesn't filter all the crap out so leave this one for the track.
HKS megaflow: This filter is a mushroom shaped foam type that pretty much does the same thing as all the other filters and adds about the same performance just it looks different. Also the foam filters don't usually last as long.
Injen Cold air intake: This is just an cone filter with a set of aluminum pipes that run from the stock pieces out of the T hose accross the front of the engine bay to the throttle bodies. It is mostly just for show.
JWT dual pop charger: 1 popcharger and eprom: This is if you have a existing JWT ECU in your car and an existing JWT single popcharger in your car. This is for going from one popcharger to dual popchargers. The chip (eprom) is for adjusting the ECU to measure for the dual intake.
JWT dual pop charger: 2 popchargers and eprom: This is for going from a stock intake to dual intakes and has the appropriate chip with it.
JWT 300ZX pop charger: this is probably what you would be ordering. It attaches right to the stock T pipe with no modifactions of anything else then removing the stock air box. They are regarded as some of the best pieces on the market and you can't go wrong with this one. All filters have tiny holes in them to pull air through and filter out the crap. The "dry" filters just have small holes. The "wet" ones, like the JWT oiled gauze, have larger holes to flow more air. But to keep all the crap on the outside, they use a sticky oil to catch the crud that comes in. All this means is that every 20k miles or so you take the filters off, wash them then spray them with some oil. The oil is like 20 bucks and the little bottle you buy will probably last you far longer then you'll have the car, assuming you need to clean the filters at all.
Stillen High flow: Pretty much the same as the Apexi dry filter. This one apparently just has a water proof dry filter element that you can wash.
KN recharger kit: This is the oil for the KN filters that you spray on after washing them out.

Uh just a suggestion though. If you have an NA Z32 then a dual system will make maybe 5hp more than a single popcharger. Not really worth it. Duals don't really make a difference until 475hp or so. If you have a TT and you are doing a turbo upgrade like I am then yeah, you should get them. Its not really worth going for a dual system if you are just doing basic upgrades (cat back, ecu and intake). But if you are dead set on a dual system and are going to order an ECU anyway then you should do both at once. Get a package deal on a dual intake kit and the right ECU and it will save down the line. Most basic stage 3 TT Z32s (good cat-back, a single popcharger and a ECU with mild boost increase to say 12 psi) are making about 320 at the rear wheels. A dual system will add maybe 10 to that, not really worth the money if you already have a single in place and a ECU already in the car. But if you don't have a ECU or intake then going for a dual system from the get go will be cheaper then doing it after getting a single intake and ecu for the single. No sense upgrading the same thing twice.

dont buy anything off ebay for your car without knowing every detail of the item. Only buy oem type parts off of ebay. I really would trust buying any mods for yor car off of ebay cause most of the time its crap that will hurt your car! Only buy name brand type mods that u are familiar with......such as injen...hks..blitz....jwt...list goes on, never any of these off the wall places. Just my own 2 cents.
A better product usually cost more money...its just the way of life!
Y not do it right the first time!

There is somethings I don't mind getting off ebay. I got some strut braces for my 240 for like $65, that was for front and rear with shipping up from california. Considering Nismo pieces are like 100 bucks for just the front, thats a hell of a deal.
Then again they were just strut braces. All they had to do was be chunks of metal attached to other chunks of metal. Once you get into fuel injectors and ecus and etc then its time to get with reliable dealers.
