fawwwk!! collapsed lifter?

alright recently my car has a loud ass tick from the rear bank and white smoke coming out of the back. my brother said that it's a collapsed lifter is this true? is it expensive?? crap someone help!

i will on tuesday, but while they have the covers off i'm thinking about getting some 99 third gen lifters, but not all of them, maybe just enuff for the rear bank, but is it okay to run the two diffrent sized/gen lifters?

yes you should be fine doing that it wont make any difference
