1/4 mile with 2003 Seabring

I raced a 2003 Seabring with a 200 hp v6 in it and on the first run I spun a bit so he got the jump on me but when I hit second I pulled right up along side then we stayed pretty even. Then on the second run I got off the line better and after I hit second I saw him pull in behind me. He said he was getting 93 on the quater and I'm showing about 89 so how can I beat him?

3.8 wouldn't be hanging with a sebring.

I have the 4.6 V8 with 3:08 gears and single traction rear end. Of coarse the Seabring is front wheel drive. But there is only 5 hp differance and I think my T-bird is heavier but I will take the win.It was my brothers Seabring and he thought he was going to cream me so that made the win all that much sweeter. I heard a quote that I like "Drive it like you stole it".

The Sebring doesn't have the low end torque our birds do.
