Hi,
I'm living in Japan so I can get this kit faster and easier than most of you.
This time, explain the detail of process before painting.
*First, this pic has taken after sanding.
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk00.jpg
*Scoop on side skirt
mesh decal is included in the kit but I'll use Hasegawa's mesh for it.
so cut it off.
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk01.jpg
sanded thick scoop covers.
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk02.jpg
*Side mirrors
side mirror part is molded with a plate but it stands out from body.
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk03.jpg
therefor I cut plate area off, drilled and put wire in it.
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk04.jpg
*Bury licence plate holes.
put heat stretched parts-tree plastic in the holes.
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk05.jpg
then cut them off and put quick-drying glue on it, then sand.
*Applied pink primer.
I redrew some panel lines.(purple circle area)
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk06.jpg
http://www.works-y3f.com/af/Murcie/mk07.jpg
*Body paint
painted mixed metallic russet.
it looks a little unique color for Murcie, I wonder some of you wouldn't like it.

Excelent start, but you are right I didnt like the color :lol2: Sorry I just love Lambos in yellow, orange and black :)
But that is a very interesting color and I am not familiar with the brand.

I like the color. Keep going on it.
The only thing I dont like about this car is the lower side scoops. They stick out way too far. Think I'll do something different there on mine. What is your impression of the kit wheels? Do they suit the model, or should we buy Maisto diecast kits to rob the wheels out of them?

Man! my favorite car being made by my favorite modeler!
What kind of kit is this Osamu? By the looks of it, it's a fujimi kit. Going by that you had to re-scribe some panel lines.

This is grwat Kunta, your pait jobs always amaze me and I am glad you shared at least some steps of the process. You should make a video of it and sell it (you could make real money out of it). Red is perfect but not for Lambo (sorry), but then again with right interior colour it could pass, we will see (can't wait).

The plastic spru will stuck into the hole with cement, after dry, cut it and sand it. Save alot time by using this way.

Great so far! The exterior and the interior are superclean as expected. The color is amazing, too, I think people need to break out of their "This car must be THIS color!" mindset. It's just gorgeous and well suited in my opinion. Cars like this are just made for these thick, beautiful colors that draw attention to every facet. Great choice! And thanks for sharing your prep work, though I'm amazed how many people were taken aback by you hole-filling technique.

Tamiya Carrera GT has engine. Fujimi's interior mold is certainly inferior to Tamiya's mold. that is huge dissatisfied point to me.
