Please Answer!!!

I just bought a 79' olds cutlass supreme brougham, it is in damn near mint condition and it runs like a champ. Its only got 79,000 original miles on the 5 litir 307 v8 engine. I have a few questions, how many horse power is that engine? Was it a good buy? What are some things i could do to make it faster? and HOw about how much could i sell it for? Thanks!

With proper care you can put over 200,000miles on it. My brother has a 87 Cutlass and the engine finally quit after 218,000 miles. We ended up dropping in a Chevy 350 afterwards. Not much you can really do for performance though. Just search around.

By the way his original motor was a 307 cubic inch or 5.0L , however you want to view it.
