check it out, i put a tamiya smoke clear coat on the FAKE carbon fibre fenders i had just bought( for my bike), i know this isnt a car model, but i am soo pleased with the out come i just have to show sombody.

check out the shine on the one on the left, like a mirror! :iceslolan
anyways i put this up to my bros real CF hood and from a distance you could barely tell it was fake.

EDIT : the one in the center is WITHOUT smoke.

Indeed! And the silly FAQ said you can't use it for tinting.

That looks great.
The problem with smoke is that it is very hard to get an even coat.

very hard. I used it for the tail light fixture on my RX7 though, and it came out beautiful, especially once I added the stop light red and turn signal amber (testors). Love how it looks. (body color is tamiya gloss black, I swear it's the stealth assassin RX7.)
