There are a bunch of us that want to get together and talk about G20s and look at other G20s, but when I comes time to meet only a couple of people show up. Whats is the deal with that?

I have seen a couple new people pop up in the last few weeks + the people that have talked in the past. Okay?

What do you get if you go?
If you go to the meet, you will get stickers. Shinny plastic things that if stuck to the side of a car will add 15hp. j/k "G"-sus hooked me up with them for the whole lot of you.
Also if it stops raining, Rob will wear a bikini and wash his car. Also a joke, hopefully. :huh:

Hey guys, I pulled out of my garage on Friday to go to work, and I got my front bumper caught on our Total Gym. It ripped my entire bumper off the car!!!! I couldn't believe it. So, I'm taking it into the shop on Monday, and I should have it fixed in a week. Just when I thought I could spend our tax refund.... But, I will also be getting my KYB's in the next few weeks! Can't wait for the next meeting...

OUCH .....Seems like G20 bumpers are a magnet for damage!!!

Mine got defaced a couple weeks ago by some cretin in a Portland parking structure while I was at a meeting. Zip ties & touch-up paint have disguised it until I'm convinced this won't happen again.

Sounds like you need immediate repairs, though.

As I've posted elsewhere, there is a can't-miss (if you have even a trace of import-car octane in your bloodstream) event in the woods of western Washington this week. It's the SCCA DooWop Performance Rally (run on many of the same roads that Juha Kankkunen, Markku Alen, John Buffum and Rod Millen, and even Steve Millen raced on when Washington hosted a round of the World Rally Championships. Grab yer maps & warm clothes, head west and be prepared to get pelted with rocks next weekend!

A round of the WRC visited Western Washington for the Olympus Rally in 1985, 1986 &1987.

This was the only time the World Rally Championships, as we now know them, ever came to North America.

There were stages held in or around Shelton, Tacoma, Aberdeen, Raymond (hard to believe, huh?). Featuring the awesome 500hp Group B Supercars.

Unfortunately, too few diehard US rally nuts knew about the Olympus, and Australia eventually lured the top-flight teams away with their emerging Rally (now a HUGE WRC event) in Perth.

This region of the SCCA is still the most active for rallies in the entire US, and there's always a desire to see a round of the WRC return here (actually, ANYWHERE in North America would be fine, too).

We need to teach everybody in America that getting drunk and watching 30 cars make 1000 consecutive left turns is not racing. When that happens, the WRC will return.

Ok peoples, it's March. Are we going to get together sometime this month? I'll be out of town from the 18th to the 26th. But, if that's the only time you guys can get together, I'll have to miss it this time around. Or, maybe we can get together for HIN. I think it's sometime around the first of April. That's just 4 weeks away. I'll wait to hear what you guys think...
