How rare is this Cutlass?

I'm about to buy a 1990 Cutlass Supreme 2 dr with a high output quad 4 and 5 speed tranny. I've been told this is a kinda rare car. Is this true? It's in EXCELLENT condition.

I'd buy it just because it is rare. But I like collecting rare vehicles anyway.

So, this is a rare car? I'm just curious. Anyone know where I can get build numbers of this car for the year 1989/1990?

rare because of the powertrain options. Cutlass Supremes are heavy cars. The Quad4 and the 5 speed combo make it rare.

I have owned a 1990 Cutlass Supreme w/Quad4 engine and M5 Speed transmission for 7 years. It has required very little maintenance except a clutch and fuel tank, both of which have been replaced in the past 12 months.

I have gotten 34+ MPG on the highway and 27 in the city, and I am not easy on the gas pedal!

If you bought this car, I would like to exchange some info as this must be a pretty rare car. Even dealers are amazed when I talk to them about it.

There have been a few on Ebay lately.

I have a 89 cutlass calais 2DR with the high output quad for, i dyno'd at 325 last week with hardly any mods, ive been fortunite enough to know some places to get quad 4 stuff, so if ur looking for stuff let me know
