4WD power distribution

I have a question on the power distribution in 4wd on my 95 tracker. I have noticed that in 4wd it is definitely rear bias. There is a noticeably more power going to the rear wheels.

It this normal. I would have figured that it was 50/50?
Could this be due to a problems with my hubs.

Thank you in advance for your time.
