need some help

I have an '92 s-10 and a 91 s-10. The '92 has a 2.8 with standard transmission. the '91 has a 4.3 with an auto trans. My question is can I remove the 4.3 and hook it up to the standard transmission in the '92, or do I have to change engine and tranny. The body is better on the '92 and is extended cab, the '91 is just a bench seat, and needs body work

Tranny from a 2.8 won't hook up to a 4.3 engine or vise versa.

So, if I was to switch tranny and engine, do I have to change all the electrical or can I just change the computer, and if I do have to change the electrical, how much oif it and how big a job am I into?

You will have to change the whole wiring harness along with the mounts etc...
