What are you going to do with the tires? I bought a set of Goodyears Eagle LS, on Monday. Took them back on Thursday. They would break free at 35 MPH.
Then I bought a set of Dunlop SP sprot 5000. Hold the ground like they were gluded there. A little noisey, and when they are cold, they ride rough. They are ZR rated (will hold at 135 MPH). They run about $135.00, and will last about 12,000 miles.
I don't care if they only last a year. I don't care what they cost. With the rain we get in Florida, they hold the road. And it's nice that you can feel safe at high speeds.
Hope this helps.

Like the P Zero Nero. But what is the speed rating? Price isn't bad. But, speed and traction is what I look for.
But all in all, they are both pretty good, but av.

Hey check out the BF Goodrich Traction T/A's. I have about 10K on mine and they were 109 installed which is cheap. V-rated, they stick like hell and look cool. Agreed that the stock GY Eagle LSs are crap.
Check out www.tirerack.com - they have the best prices and tons of comparison tire shopping. I've heard good things about the ContiExtreme Contacts from the Pontiac dealer who put them on his own 04 GP CompG.
Anyone else looking for tires - check out the tire rack site, their prices and reviews/testing are the best I've seen.

Do you have 16" rims? If so this is the size I use. (won't clear wheel wells with anything bigger) P235/60R-16. I tried a couple different sizes, but they wouldn't clear.
