Just bought a used Explorer Sport and I don't have the code for the keypad, where does Ford hide the code? also the map lights don't work.I checked all the fuses and none are burnt out. How do I check the bulbs.

I have a explorer sport too and didn't know the code, so I went to the ford dealership and they told me you would have to take apart the inside drivers' side door to find it. I didn't do it though.

new question:
I never really noticed my steering wheel turning way more than I thougt. Like when I make a right turn at a red light, I would have to make almost two full turns on the steering wheel just to make it. Is this normal?

Guys, The code you need is located on the computer module located in the jack storage compartment on the drivers side of the Sport. There may be more than one 5-digit code to try, but one of them WILL work.

Perfect, the code was there and it worked.
Thanks a bundle
