sounds like you have a jelousy problem. Do you know the people driving that car? How many poeple do you actually know who own a car like that? Also how do you know they dont deserve the car they drive? What if one of those guys is a world famous surgeon who has developed a new technique for heart surgery thats saving hundreds of lives a day? He certainly would deserve a nice car. . .

well considering there are only 10 F1s in the US and 107 in total the chances are much higher to see a skyline.

i'd perfer the f1... skylines are too overrated. Something about those f1's that do bring tears to one's eyes.

I've seen this picture before, but the 360 was cut off. It's even better now.

in my personal opinion, the mclaren is a pretty ugly car. the rear is too damn short, and hte mag wheels are nasty looking. its probrably one of hte ugliest super cars. i perferr the look of a F40 or the F50 over that car anyday. or even the F355 or like i said, or any other super car over it. the only super car that i think looks nastier then the mc laren would have to be the jaguar XJ220 and hte bugatti eb110 or whatever its called. now those are really ugly super cars. also i think i would have less chnace to see a skyline then any of those cars. considering htat i've already saw a ENZO, a the maseratti enzo clone, the Ford GT, tons of viper's and even the new viper R/T 10, and tons of F360 modenas, porsche turbos, porsche GT2, my friends dad's porsche GT3, i've practically seen almost every modern super car ever made. but i've never even saw a Skyline GTR.

They have perforance and (from what I hear) practicly indestructable engine. Looks are not necessary. Judging by the post above yours, i doubt anyone with a sig like that would disagree with me. A skyline is much more a rare find than most exotics. Why? because they are a.) not marketed here b.) Need to go through a long legalization process (most with big money dont want a hassle) c.)Not made anymore. (Well G35 style, but im refering to the classic GTRs)

Yeah, you don't see many GT-R's in America. I'd still rather have a McLaren F1 any day though :/

the ugly part i can understand but i also think a 96 up 3000GT is also very ugly in my eyes cusae it looks too cliche and nothing and i mean nothing about it makes it stand out from other cliche design sports cars. also i find the front to look very fish like with the gills. but thats my opinion. anyways back to the topic, the skyline is a great car, but its ricers that overrate it. i know it will take alot of money for the GT-R to match the performance of a stock mc laren. however stock for stock it will blow your precious VR-4 away at the race track. and will edge it in the 1/4 mile as well. top nissan < both top mitsubishi

i've practically seen almost every modern super car ever made. but i've never even saw a Skyline GTR.

i've seen two skyline gtr's in washington. one is white and one is silver. both times i nearly shat on myself...

also, for the person who wanted to see a race between the f1 and the skyline, there's one on kazaa. lets jus say...the skyline doesn't even compare (which it shouldn't comparing the two stock vs stock.)

youre kidding, right? omg where i live there are GTR's all over, like i live in the outer suburbs and the other day a blue r34 gtr with what sounded like having your basic mods, (exhaust, i/cooler, he probably had some other stuff like chip and cams) full c-west kit (i know it sounds GAY but in real life looks hot as hell) with CF bonnet and wing, and the non CF all in bayside blue with a beautiful set of polished racing rims... that was HOT.... guy down the street owns a r34 GT-T thats been modified a fair bit, id say he might be makin about 460hp... geez u guys are deprived huh, but then again we dont have nowhere near as many euro supercars down here

how about the Nismo R34 GT-R? or how about hte 400R? each one of them can out run a porsch 996 turbo. i didn't bring out the high end models vs the high end models cause again, the nissan will be faster. or about the Nur spec Edition of hte R34? all make 400hp. and weights less then the standard GT-R. and the standard GT-R already weights less then a GTO.

its a factory tuned R34 tuned by nismo that includes a 1 year warrantee on parts. it was laping almost 1 second faster then the porsche 911 turbo. yes the 420hp one also the Nur spec is also no slouch. even though its soo rare so i can hardly find specs for it. but from what RazorGTR told me its also another 400hp R34. they were the last ones ever to be produced by nissan in August 03 where they were the last batch of R34's ever to be made. they were sold out before they even came out in the market. and judging from the offical japanese website from mitsubishi the MR is still a tank weighting 3670 lbs. thats how much the lightweight version weights? damn thats still atleast 100lbs more heavier then the heaviest standard GT-R. the R34. and 400 lbs heavier then the lightest R32.

sorry dont know much about skylines but what does an R34 run in the 1/4 mile.

im saying a easy low 13sec pass

they run similar to a GTO. high 12's in the hands of a pro. but the GT-R's strenght is not in straightline. its just good at doing everything. its like a competent car in every field. however it doesn't do just any one performance the best. but it does everything exceptionally well, and thats what makes it such a good car. all the goods combined makes it one really good. :smokin:

example: it doesn't launch the hardest. a EVO takes off harder. but it can out launch a NSX. it has waaaay more highend then a EVO but it loses to the supra and nsx by a little. it doesn't take tight corners as well as a evo. but it takes wide sweeps and medium speed corners faster then any car. it also is very good at corner entry, and has very good mid end for extremely fast corner exiting speed. it just does everything together really well. think of it has a Ryu of cars. there are street fighter characters that are more stronger, and faster. but RYU is still one of the best characters.

cool but i would still take a GTO MR over the best skyline there is anyday. Skylines are fast and everything but they just dont do it for me. i feel kinda unique since almost everyone i know worships the skyline.
