I won't ask how you could have made that mistake, Since you seem to have blown so many circuits I think that you should test the fuse box it's self. It might be easiest borrowing one from a friend's truck, and testing it. Disconnect the battery first.

I've got a spare one if you need it, for a very fair price. I could have it in the mail early next week.

Good luck fixxing the problem

You should look under the hood for a fuse box. There is a main panel somewhere under your hood that has fuses to protect your battery and the main systems of your car. The fuses are larger there and if you herd it pop, then chances are it was one of those.

My 85 owners manual doesn't show any main fuse panel under the hood, and I haven't seen any while replacing my motor, but I'm not saying that it isn't there.

well i'm probable wrong... i know most "newer" cars have them. but they probable didn't start that till '96 or so. i'm not sure what else to check then... good luck.

doesn't your power line for the amp have a fuse in it?

Or did you direct wire it?

no it doenst have a fuse i direct wired it to the fuse box. and theres is no main fuse box in the engine conpartment. but there is a square metal lookin thing above the flasher does any one kno wut that is. my car is suck a mess the person i got it from had kc lights or fog light hooged up so i have some swithes and other stuf and all kinds of extra wires if the wiring harnes didnt cost so much i would get 1

Any wrecker that deals with older s10 blazers.

If you need (or want) my spare fuse box, I'll look and see if the wiring harness is any good. I'm lucky, My Blazer has never had the wiring butchered.

I live in Canada so it would probably take over a week for any mail to reach you from here
