Accessory Lighting

Help from anyone . . . I am installing some power equipment to my Silverado and one of the wires indicates is should be attached to a dash light. Is there any easy place to do this or can it be attached to some wire coming from the ignition switch?

You don't want to hook it up to that, unless you want the lights on your accesory always on, or dimmed. (however your accesssory is set up) Find a metal tab on the power box behind hte parking brake that is only hot when the parking lights are turned on, and off when the parking lights are off. They hook they wire up to that spot.
