Hi!
I recently purchased a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 Ext. Cab w/3rd door. It seems to ride a little "hard". The rear shocks were replaced by the previous owner with spring assisted shocks (coil springs over the shocks). Would it be worth it to replace these with regular shocks? I don't want to spend the money if it doesn't change the ride much.
Thanks in advance,

Most likely the shocks were replaced to handle some heavy loads or for pulling a heavy trailer.
Replace them with a good gas shock and you should feel a difference
