fuse problem ALT 120a

hello everyone

im new to this forum and i jsut got my 02 tacoma 4dr prerunner and i just have this one problem

none of my dash instruments work and radio...i dont know what the problem is and my ALT120 fuse is blown..could that be the problem? also how would u change that fuse i know there is a bolt on on side but i cant get to the other side of the fuse..do i need to take out the whole fuse box?

Aren't dash instrumetns and radio controlled by a 15? If you have any blwon fuses I suggest replacing them, with your neg. terminal disconnected of course since trying to plug it in with that still connected will just blow the fuse again, and maybe others. So just pull it out and replace it, should work.

does anyone know how to take the fuse box apart the one in the engine bay bc i cant get the screw out of the ALT 120a..pics would be helpful or anything

I just took mine off yesterday, I'll take a pic of it tomorrow and post it for you. You may even have figured it out by then.

was it hard taking apart the fuse box?
