not sure what to do now

well guys, i was supposed to buy my 4.3 tomorrow, with the tranny, computer, wiring, motor mounts and everything i need to take my weak 2.2 s10 to a new level, and the guy selling it dicked me over... so now im still looking, im going to look at this parts truck tomorrow to see what engine is in it, maybe ill get lucky and it will be a 4.3... anyways, i need to get some defenite power gain in my truck... any idea's that are relatively inexspensive? im doing all of this work over winter so it can be semi time consuming, but pretty easy... thanks

where are you located and what are you lookin to spend on the 4.3 engine, tranny, computer, harness not sure if the mounts are still on there

go v8. 350 motor, 350 tubro trans. and a good set of gears. you will happy. if you want you truck to come alive. theres your answer. 4.3 are good, very good. but if you want power and speed. put the work in a 350.

im not looking to spend to much on one right now, i was getting a deal and a half from the other guy, which is actually my cousin, he was selling it all for 300 which no one is even gonna come close to... but now i think im just gonna buy a new truck, that has a 4.3 5speed in it, and it will be a 98 or new because i like the new frontend compared to my 94...

what did he do, change his mind?

yeah, its really his dads engine, cause his dad payed for the truck, and we were gonna give my cousin the money for it, and he was fine with that, but when we decided to give his dad the money since it was his truck, his son lied and said someone is gonna buy for 600, and his dads always money hungry and not carrying that he already made the deal with me and said hes not selling it to me anymore

yeah... i agree, but in a way, im kinda glad it happend, because now, im going to buy another s10 that already has the 4.3 with a 5speed in it, plus it will have the 98 front end on which i like alot better, and maybe ill get one with an extended cab, that would be nice too, just for the space, i like the look of a single cab alot better but i know ill love the space in the extended...

go with the extended.

The regular cabs are hard to sell.
