I finally was able to get my grille guard (now basically a bull bar thanks to the body lift :( on after getting to a buddy's house and using his impact gun. Anyway, I installed and wired my KC longrange lamps, yes really can't figure out where or how to install the switch. I have a switch for my fog lamps that I'll be wiring soon as well and that'll be another one I need to find a spot for. Right now I just have the switch on the end of a screw, works just fine but I want a factory look ya know.
And ideas?

Not sure what year your truck is, but if it is a non-TRD, it should have an open switch blank just left of the steering wheel. On TRD models it has the diff lock switch. Then buy a factory Toyota fog lamp switch and install it in there.
If you don't have a space there, the other options may be below the ashtray or where the airbag kill switch is if would be if you don't have a regular cab.

The 4x4 and PreRunner modles have the diff lock switch tere too, but I think there is another open blank right next to it! thanks.

I put my switch on the left side of the steering column next to the interior light dimmer. I use the vacant slot on the right for my cell phone mount. (this is a 99 Taco PR- My roomate as a 2004 Taco and the differences aren't that much.)

I looked at mine again today and it looks like both switches are used on on the auto transmission. I have a Double Cab so I've got the ECT Power/Normal switch there.
