I've got an 89 Civic 4Door with a rebuild altinator and shiny new battery...

I'm looking to get a nice LOUD booming base with a new audio system. The problem is I don't know jack all bout subs or what I need... I don't even know if my honda could power it well enough.

I want 2 subs to place in the trunk with an amp and have 4 speakers within the car...

Any suggestions for what I would need, power wise... sound wise and space restrictions?

Thanks!

If anyone has any online sites to help educate me further on subs and amps and such... please let me know!

if you want some good subs with high rms and that are really light.....try VISONIK. you guys might have not heard of them but they make really good subwoofers and enclosures and arent super heavy and space consuming. i have 2 12 inch visonik subs in a box along with my pioneer amp in my hatch and it only took up about a third of the space

go with 2 12 inch rockford fosgate subwoofers, with a competition amp & sony explode speakers, you'll have the deep bass & the high treble
