i can`t believe this happened..........i was driving around 120km/h in my friend's big neighborhood this afternoon and i decided to test my brakes i braked while just a little before into the turn....the turn ws really small about 160~170 degree.....i braked pretty hard...and u know what?.......the car slid form the inside of the turn to the outside.......!!!...both my right wheels almost hit the curve...i can actually hear my tires running on the gutters.....my friend was like ahhhhhhhh.....ayyeeeeeeeeee......it all happened so fast it wasn't scary until i got home and thought about it.....ohh my god...!!..i think the god helped me...well after investigating my wheels..i found out that my wheels had scratch marks on the side of the wheel...i should of pumped up my wheels...especially the front, ohh my.......!!..i guess it`s really easy to forget what u r driving....but when u take a sharp turn u`ll remember ur driving a 3000 pound+ sports sedan...not a 2600 pounds integra....:( :o

I guess this means you now understand why the racing should be left to the track?
You're lucky no one got hurt or else you would have felt real stupid.

well.....does anyone have any exciting and dangerous stories with their max?....if so let`s share some........;) ...well after what i experinced yesterday, i`m gonna share something with u guys....
...if u really want to drive like i did yesterday,..never respect ur max will do what ever you want it do, it won`t....slow down real, real fast....cuz 120km doesn`t mean anything until u reach the turn....u`ll be surprized how fast that actually is....alwayse look around....like the curve and people....i was lacking at looking at the distance of the curve yessterday, so i didn`t have a idea how close i was to the curve.......practice with some cones at a parking lot at night......cuz when ur going at high speeds it`s harder to judge ur distance....when u turn to hard or brake the car may understeer or slide........!!!:( :) ...and remember....react fast..!!

Do you have stock suspension and wheels? Because you have to remember, it may be a 4drsc, but the max was still designed with luxury in mind, and the stock parts are just not up to the task. Throw some springs, bars, and rims/tires on there and the performance will increase a lot, but it still has a beam rear suspension, so you will be somewhat limited there. All if this is rather moot anyway. You never know where a patch of gravel or sand may be, so always think 'whats the worst that can happen here' and go by that. Yeah, I don't always do it, but I NEVER drive to the extreme if I have someone else in the car, or in traffic. Just my $.02. Good save, and be careful :D

Geezus, how many dead in the lower mainland from high speed racing/showing off in the last year? My wife and I have a kid, if you ever plowed into my Odyssey, you'd better hope the cops show up before I get out. Sorry man, but you are dead wrong by doing 120km/h in a neighborhood. How would you feel if you had put a kid through your windshield. No need to answer, as your comment on being more concerned about your rims spoke volumes!

I dont think he was thinking about that at the time. I'm sure when you were a teenager you were careless and really didn't give a sh!t about an old man and his kid.

...I did care. If my old man had caught me hot rodding in the neighborhood, it would have been lights out. I never would've seen my RX7 again. We used to drag of course, but not 120 in a 50 zone. We used to go out to the sticks or an area that was unpopulated.
What bothers me most is this "oh well, who gives a rats ass about anybody else" mentality nowadays. Are you gonna sit there and tell me ayou wouldn't be upset if a cop knocked on you door one night and said "Mr. Smith, sorry to tell you, but your mom was just plowed down walking home from the store by a couple of drag racing cars. She was messed up bad, suffered in pain for awhile till she died on the sidewalk. Bye now."
Come on. Grow up. You may be old enough to drive, but mature enough, not bloody likely!

Canadian Drivers! Just kidding :) I'm glad you are O.K. And you are correct, God did help you! I use to drive crazy too when I was younger so I won't knock you but you should probably go to a track when speed is involved.
