98 Civic EX HEADUNIT

im trying to switch out my stock radio with a new head unit. But with the little pocket thing next to it, i cant take it out. Ive tried many things... any way to take it out?

Are you talking about that little compartment coin holder type thing. If thats what you are talking about mine pulled right out when I changed my radio had no problem with that..

theres a lil screw if you remove the screw cover in the back
