I reset my internet settings - and now everytime I open my browser I get a message telling me that explorer has caused an error in "<unknown>" What gives? And how do I undue what I did?
I'm using internet explorer (I thought that bit might be useful).

If you are behind a router you may have to do a long reset, just unplug the power cord for 30 seconds and plug it back in. You should also run Adaware SE, Spybot Seek and Destroy, and a virus scan.

What type of internet connection do you have? Dialup? DSL? Cable? Do you have a router? What version of Windows do you have? What version of Internet Explorer do you have?

Difficult to answer your question without more information to draw a conclusion or have an idea where to start. :)

Your main problem is, your using Internet Explorer. Mozilla Firefox is a lot better. Or even Mozilla or MyIE2. I would recomment switching but it up to you. Mozilla and Mozilla Firefox is more secure.

I haven't used IE in a long time till today. I went on my Dad computer to get a file. I was using IE. It was odd not being able to just middle mouse click to tab window over. I've gotten use to using the same window for viewing all my web sites.
