where is that heat sensor :)

I was wondering where the heat sensor is in a 83 Trans Am . I´m a little concerned about the thermostat not rising an inch so i wanted to check where the sensor is and if it isn´t connected . Thanks :)

well on my brothers trans am its on the passenger side of the block. it just slides onto a a little flat connector on the side of the block.
