I've now got an Optima Red-Top Gel Cell Battery. Is the Yellow-Top still better than this? It cost me like $200. What's the advantage of red over yellow and visa versa?

Don't think red has an advantage over yellow. Yellow is known because it can completely discharge and regain it's full charge like new.

yea the yellow top is deep cycle and the red top isn't......bassically deep cycle won't loose amperage as it discharges like haibane said, but the red top will continue to get weaker as it discharges more. Also yellow tops should only be 160 MAX not 200 ..... check autozone and advance auto.....eay has them from like 125 plus shipping i believe.
