its not that bad you just have to have a little know how and the only way to learn is by doing it

I already took the manufacture alarm out of the car... is just that without really knowing which wire is which, it'll makes it difficult... I just need to know exactly which wire is for the door locks, trunk, alternator, brake, ignition, ac,, I think that most of it. to install it myself

John, the place to get the info is www.bulldogsecurity.com the only tricky part is hooking up the door triggers and power locks. Unfortunately, most alarm "experts" don't really understand how to do them correctly either.

Is this a remote start/alarm combo? If not, there isn't anything you need to do with the factory alarm. The only thing you have is VATS which is real easy to overcome with a resistor and a relay.

The locks unfortunately is the only tricky part if you are not too familiar in installs. You have to use 2 relays or DEI part number 451m to do the power locks. You have to test from the pass. switch.

yes it is... i called the manufacture alarm and they told me that I'll need a module to by pass the key chip and I just decided to pay for someone to do it... I'll be probably doing it sometime this month... un less I find someone who will install it for a reasonable price of course

That "module" they are talking about is just a $3 relay and a resistor. These can be had at Radio Shack. Again, I feel that an installer would have more of a chance of problems with the keyless entry part versus the VATS bypass. Too bad you are not in Ohio or I could do it.

Well, maybe. You need to know some stuff about 12v electronics. I can supply you with all the information as far as wire colors and locations if you want but I will suggest you get a quality unit to install instead of the piece you have.

It is a very cheap piece. Usually works OK at first then after a year or so things start to fail.
