Power steering boosting

Anyone know if it's possible to boost the level of power steering im my '04 silverado? My old '97 had the easiest steering ever and this new truck is just too stiff for my liking.

Too stiff!?!?! When i get in my Z28, it feels like an arm workout compared to the truck, LOL

lol, yeah im just used to my old truck....I used to just wheel it around with one finger :D

I can't even turn mine when I'm stopped. Not even if I use both hands, and I'm not a small Dude. Seriously... is there anyway to turn up the power steering at lower speeds?

i can turn mine at a stop easily with one hand, i have 315's, has it always been hard or just developed, you may have a problem with p/s system or something may be binding up

It has always been bad. Just wondering what specific part might cause that. It makes the pump run loud like when you turn all the way one way and keep trying to turn. If I air down a little, I don't think 10 men at once could turn the darn wheel.
Any Ideas?

Mine's pretty tough too. Would love to hear a solution. Some of the Tahoes and Suburbans at work can be turned with just a finger!

I suggest you take the vehicle in to the dealer and see if their Technical Assistance hot line might have an correction. They might also check and see if the PS pump pressures are correct and PS flow rates are ok. I,ve replaced several pumps with inadequate pressures and techline has some corrections available for CERTAIN vehicles, depending on the VIN breakout. Good luck.
