While driving my fan went from low to high speed with out aid. When I got home it would not turn off even when I turned off the car. The battery had to be disconnected and later the blower fan. But we need ac and heat sometimes in Texas. Possibilites: Blower motor resistor, relays but where are these things? any advise?

The blower motor resistors should be located to the left of the fan. Should be able to trace the fan motor wires to the resistor pack directly. I can't remember where your high speed fan relay is, but I think it is located right above the fan and duct work. I hope this helps you. Chris

We are still on the trail of the solution. We think it is the blower motor module for our car. I think it is on the firewall just about the blower, a square thing. Too bad it is expensive. $149 from the dealer, $83 aftermarket retail and I wonder about a pick and pull? Thanks for all the info online.

If your thinking of exchanging one for another you may find that they have differant load ratings so be carefull.

Thanks to everyone who helped...It is fixed. I have a fan that blows at all speeds again. It was the blower module which for our car was hidden under the relay panel. The new part looked a bit different when we went to replace it but it worked as it was a delco part. Thank you...
