i have a 77 f150 8ft bed...the frame is still in good shape but there are rusted holes everywhere on this thing...i was wondering if i can take a newer body and put it on the frame...and still be street legal? i dun wanna have to get my truck e-checked...

If you're going to go the expense of putting a new body on the thing, it may just be a better idea to buy a new truck.

maybe....but then i would have to pass e-check...and that would mean no 460 stroked to 512

You could always modify the new truck after the emissions check....

true...but then 2 years rolls around quickly...i think i've decided against it all together now though...i dun think i can really afford to replace the whole body with a new one...i'mm patch up what i can with slim sheet metal and weld it on there...it won't look like much for awhile...but when you got 650hp and can run over civics without breaking a sweat...who really gives a damn what it looks like

I like your thinking! Civic killing is the best! :smokin:

lol hondas, nissans, toyotas, saturns, and anyother vehicle out on the road for that matter...best be watchin' that rear view mirror for me coming up and just runnin' straight over your ass...lol then you can watch me drive off into the woods and up a mountain where the cops can't get me...

Just remember most police municipalities now have helicopters!

hmmm....i need a really big harpoon gun....and a really really long...and strong rope...i know it'll add weight to the truck...but hey...when you can harpoon helicopters out of the sky....its doesn't really matter lol...
