damnit, my 89 turbo mk3 automatic, i got so much bad luck, too many things go wrong with my car
i was driving by a friends house and was boosting a lot to show him my blow off valve sound. after like 8 times of boosting to the max about 7.75 psi or so, i went home on the freeway. i heard a little sweek but thought it was nothing, maybe just a belt. after about 10 mins, all of a sudden the car felt like it went to neutral, pressing gas just made rpm go up but not pushing car. i got off the freeway and put it into gear 2, and drove it home. at stoplights, a few times, it didnt move when i gassed for like 2 seconds, then jerked and moved while it was in gear 2. when i got home, i smelled somehting burned so i opened the hood and saw a big squirting leak from the powersteering area, right below the filler bottle thingy. also, alot of powersteering fluid was leaking on the ground. would powersteering leaking affect the tranny shifting or anything? the sweek could possibly be from the belts getting wet by the fluid. does anyone konw what happened or could be the reason? has this ever happen to anyone? also, if anyone konws of anything about this or has any thoughts on this, please, any reply will help. thank you.

some have a progressive power steering setup... don't know how it works, but somehow when your speed gets higher, the power steering effect is weakened. Fixing the leak may fix the problem for the rest of it.
