Local racing vid

race-club.org is a local site I'm on and the v8 crew made up a vid. In the racing part, there is a Civic Si boosting 6lbs, an SS and a sprayed C5 (camera man). The white VR4 is boosting god knows how much, and I don't know about the other one. It's pretty entertaining though..

Alright, I hate to do this because I sound like an ass, but thats not an SS. It's a Z28 with an SS hood. It still has the stock Z28 spoiler though. When the camera looked at the dash, they were going 120 mph, which is the speed most Z28's cut out at. The cut-out on an SS is 160 so a real SS might have been closer. I am dissapointed that I didn't see more vid of the Mustangs on the street, they looked badass.

It is an SS but he installed body parts off a Z28. I'm guessing one reason was to hustle people because he took $100 from Dustin, the kid in the Civic, by beating him (badly) in the race on that vid.

The night that race was filmed Dustin was in our huge hangout spot and wouldn't race anybody unless it was for money. The owner of the "Z28" took the bet..

Those are some nice cars. Love the sound of that engine.

i got a funny one for you guys... how much more hp does a ss have over a z28? ...

all a ss really is, is a z28 with a different package on it. I worked for a chevy dealer for a while and i got alot of usefull info on them from people and finding out on my own by racing them in the service lot :D

they are quicker but not as much as most people think
