Problem with gauges

I just bought a 92 prelude, and sometimes when i start it, the gauges are really dim, and sometimes not vissible at all, the fuel and temp. gauges that is. I haven't really looked at the wiring yet, i have had it for 2 days now. but does anyone know anything about this, or how to fix it? thanks

oh also, after a while the gauges come back, i'm not really sure whats up with them, i don't know much about this car, being as i just bought it, help! thanks
