Stereo system question

I have a quick question that someone can hopefully answer. I am installing a system in my mustang, and was hoping someone could tell me which wire on the radio is the remote wire. Supposed to be the one that communicates with the amp and tells it when to turn on and off. Any info will help.
Thanks a lot,
Greg

I think its usually the power antenna wire that does that, which is usually blue. I've never messed with one that has a remote though

clear me up here - are you asking if what wire on the stock unit is the amp turn on or on your aftermarket unit? the aftermarket unit should have come with a chart, and if it didn't you can go to it's web site and find it out. if you need to the power antena lead will do the trick.
