Last night my friends and I went cruisin down Main street Nashua lookin for some fun...i raced some kids Civic hatchback complete with all the ricer shit and easily won... While that got my confidence running the next stoplight this kid pulls up with a 99 Lumina and i happened to know the kid so the light goes green and we both gun it

.I was able to keep up with it but he started pulling away and i had to brake because there was a car infront of me about 100 feet or so away. I felt pretty embarrassed being owned by a Lumina but hey cant win them all right?

Oh yeah i got a bone Stock 98 Mustang v6...Cold air induction and flowmaster exhasut on the way...

hey, those 4 bangers were really cool... especially when you chunk out the 4cyl and drop a 302 in it (seen it done)

Don't worry about being owned by a Lumina. I had my ass handed to me by a guy that had a Geo Metro (though the thing had WRX hiding underneath the Geo body).

That's the long story made short, but yeah, no worries we've all been there.

THERE WERE TURBO STANGS!!?!?!?

a guy i kno says he'd give me a good run in his mustang auto...i'm gunna go w/ no cuz i can toast that LTZ and yeah, pre-99 mustangs aren't the greatest out of the box, and i think the new ones are only supposed to hang even w/ me

Yeah, back in the 80's. It was called the Mustang SVO. At its peak, in mid-1985, it made 205 hp and 248 ft-lbs of torque. Much better than the Omni GLH, in my opinion :)

You know the 03 cobra can hit 12's right?

and yes there were turbo 4 cylinder stangs, they ran low 14's IIRC

cough cough...^^ see above

V6, not supercharged V8, but actually w/ a turbo kit i'm supposed to be able to hit 12's if not 11's...i don't really like ford much, they build crap that breaks down in front of ur house...thast why i have a mitsubishi, for when the daily drive don't work

Unless you get into serious modification. I wouldn't throw around ford breaking down in front of your house, I've owned ford my whole life and never had one break down on me once...

Had a Ford break down on me (well, not ME, my Fiance's Parents), and it was TWO WEEKS OLD.
Beat that.

Z34, 3.4L DOHC. My buddy ran somewhere in the mid 16's with his 91 a few years back.

the turbo kit i'm looking at addes 120-150whp on top of the approx. 175 i already have... ...toyota supras have 320 at the crank and lay down 13.5's i will have at least 320 to the wheels and hoping to break into the 12's bolt on only, w/ lsd and tires i had better be in 11's or somethings wrong. we have 3 fords 2001 f-150 broke...once it only has 30k miles now and didn't have more than 14k when it broke 1995 ford windstar engine went once trans went 2 times and various problems where it had to be towed and checked on right now at 150k miles and an 1989 ford taurus at 154k miles shakes studders, some mornings just won't start or just drains the battery on its own, parts and labor in all to keep it running have been 3x what we payed in hte first place to get it
