Coolant Hose runs from block to firewall, and has another smaller diameter hose running to throttle body?? Does anyone know the part number or name?
No, it's not the "heater hose" but runs next to it on the '98 VR-6 Jetta GLX.

no problems got the thing fixed.......bently and impex motors sure came in handy.
