I'm new to the board---just found this site.
I've had a 2000 I30 for almost 2 years now and I love it.
It was the first one our dealer had and it was sitting on the showroom floor. I'm hoping to attach some pics to this thread.
If it doesn't work, I may need some 'newbie' help. :)http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/360323I30_01.jpg

Beautiful car! I really like the I30ts starting with the 2000. I really want a set of wheels like those on my J30t! You can see my car in the J30 thread.
Hope she last you a long time and you have a great relationship together! :D

Thanks--
I'd been looking at BMW's and Mercedes before I bought this car, and I'm glad I ended up w/ the Infiniti. This car has more room, more power and more gadgets than most of the cars I'd looked at purchasing.
The only problem is that now I want to drive an I35 w/ 20+ more horsepower!!

I wouldn't worry too much about wanting an I35. First off, I think they are going to be discontinued in another year or so (rumor has it). Second, don't we all ALWAYS want a nice, faster car with MORE horsepower!
Your car is great, pretty quick, and has all the creature comforts! Also, I LIKE IT, so what more could you ask for! HA!
Baby it, use synthetics, keep the tires in good shape, and that baby will last you a LONG time!

you are correct... the I35 series will be discontinued... I found this out while expecting to acquire a 2005 model which will not exist from my understanding at the dealership. IN FACT... which was more pleasing to drive was the M45 w/340hp [same engine as the Q45] it was said that the M45 will replace the I35. Thus leaving the G35 - M45 and Q45 [Luxury & Premiere models]. The M45 looks a lot better in person than on any pic I've seen... and MAN, MAN, MAN... you have got to drive one... it's an experience I think all I30/I35 owners should experience.
TRUST ME!
The M45 is build on the Japeneese flagship model... body does not resemble any thing I've seen in the USA. This car could basically drive itself... tru POWER!
SORRY FOR THE SUBJECT CHANGE!

What kind of mileage do you get? I'm really interested.
