I saw a Torsion lift for sale. Anybody know about these. They look like the original torsion keys but bigger. Says will give you 2-3 inches of lift. I want to know if it will ride rougher? I turned my stock all the way up but it rode way too rough.

It will ride a lot better than cranking up the stockers.

Yeah, what he said. It will also let you adjust for up to like 3" of lift. I"ve wanted some of these, I just haven't gotten around to ordering them.

I had Hill 4 Wheel Drive in San Luis Obispo, CA install their torsion bar lift keys. This was two years ago and I've had no problems since. I am running LT285/75 R16 Duelers and have absolutely no rubbing or clearance problems on or off road. A word of advise - the keys are just re-shaped versions of the stock ones to allow you to turn the torsion bars past their stock level, and this won't cause interference with the key and the truck frame as with the stock ones. You still are turning up the tension on the torsion bars, thus limiting downward travel. This will stiffen up your ride a bit, but you will get used to it, and it makes the truck look alot better. My main complaint is that when I hit my driveway at a faster than normal speed, the front end will definitely let you know it with a sharp bounce up. This was not the case stock. Hill turned my bars up to give me 2.5 inches of lift. This will also require you to get an alignment otherwise you'll chew up your tires quickly.
