I was told that the power window cable needs to be replaced in the back left window for $350.00! I can hear the motor running but the window won't go up all the way. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do the replacement myself for less? Do I have to replace the window motor too?

Get the window regulator online at ebaymotors.com and do a search. They have a ton on there and they usually go for like 150 and I hear it's an easy replacement.

No, when you replace the regulator you can use the same motor.

I just had this same problem I think. Basically, the window won't roll all the way up and when it goes down, it sounds like it's dying. I popped off the door panel and found that on the rear cables, there's a small white plastic catch. This catch was busted. That may be the problem with your too. Well, I'm going to replace it tommorrow. Will let you know.

this is a frequent problem with my car. i'm currently on the 6th regulator for this POS. The same problem keeps happening - a cheap white, plastic clip breaks and you have to replace the whole assembly. the plastic clips do not last long here in AZ. I just found 1aautomotive.com and they have an aftermarket one for 100 bucks. I'm gonna give this part a try since the oem's suck.
