Lucky he still got a pension cheque or else they would have had to kick him out.....oh wait, they'd just find out he was dead.
Thats very sad.

Truly tragic that no one noticed. However, in modern society, I can't say I'm surprised unfortunately.

Proof that modern society and technology rules our lives

...and our deaths for that matter.

its the moisture that causes the body to stink, if the room had a low humidity and a good airflow it would have basically become a dehydrator and the body would become essentually "beef jerky"

Hey, it's Canada after all, he must have froze!!

Still, it makes you wonder how many other 'undiscovered' dead people there are out there.

The father of a good friend of mine was on an 8 day solo canoe trip in the Canadian arctic in the summertime. He encountered some trouble and died. It took a month to find the body. If he did not have his son willing to persuade the authorities to look for him, his father would likely still be missing, and never found.

Except for slim jims aren't dried out meat. Its grounded meat injected into little edible tubes.

Ugh, i'd hate to be the person who has to change the sheets on the bed. Anyone see the movie Seven? This is similar in some respects to the guy who was chained to his bed and died.

Way to pick up on the sarcasm.

It's sad that a human being can go unnoticed for so long like that. But, at the same time, it doesn't surprise me.

Hm, it didn't say why they actually decided to enter the condo. Wonder what happened.
