Sorry if this has been discussed before.
I'll be taking delivery this week on a new '04 Tahoe, and have been reading a lot on here about chip mods, KN filters, etc.
How do chip modifications, tweaking factory settings, and other performance enhancers affect the warranty? Has anyone ever experienced a problem?
Thanks

In the simplest of terms..If your warranty concern is a direct result of your modification, warranty coverage for THAT REPAIR repair can be denied.
Example: You install a K@N filter and the oil damages the MAF sensor.....You buy the parts and labor to fix the sensor.
