Short Shifters

Is it possible to put a short shifter into an automatic or any possible way to speed up shifts? and suggestions would be helpful feel free to im or email me.

To make an auto short shifter, just cut some of the lenght out. The purpose of a short shifter is physically reduce the length of time that it takes the driver to shift, and in an auto you dont have to worry about that.
Also, I think there is a piece of equipment that speeds up auto shifts, cant remember what its called though. Do a search in this section.

Auto trans intercepter. It coneccts to the wiring harness on the tranny and you can adjust the shift points.

hey, where can u get a short shifter for a 94 cav 5speed..just wondering if they made such a beast for this car.

No I don't. I don't have the car yet. But I am thinking about buying a 98 Cavy well my mom is buying it for me. I am 17 and I hear bad stuff about automatics but I really want a car. So that's why I was wondering was there any way to speed up shifting in an automatic.

As far as I know its just called a "shift kit" my buddy was talkig about them today and mentioned that a "3 stage" is the optumal one to purchase.
Just in case I even bought an auto.

Will that automatic shift kit even do much for our slow ass 2.2 cavis :( lol, is it worth the $?
