bushing/bearing?

My 98 astro makes a vibration type squeaking noise when in motion on even the slightest uneven or bumpy road. I was once told that by the sound of it, the bushings or bearings needed to be greesed. I also read that the differential fluid may be low. Solutions, sugestions, etc-PLEASE!!
